Designed and planned by Sohrab Rustomjee, this 641 bed design for the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital was to consolidate obsolete and decaying building stock in new facilities planned around a series of landscaped courtyards. All areas were to be linked via a new top lit hospital street which offers ease of communication as well as a visually stimulating environment for all to enjoy.
