SR Architects Director Sohrab Rustomjee was Project Architect for this scheme whilst previously employed at David Hutchison Partnership. Working with Chris Allen it was completed in 2001 and was one of the first completed PFI schemes in the country. Facilities include a Day Hospital, GP Practices, Therapies and related Outpatient facilities, as well as 84 in-patient beds planned around a Central courtyard providing maximum day-lighting and natural ventilation.

Careful planning allowed full use of the southerly aspect to promote views across gardens and beyond to the Severn Bridge and Avon Estuary.
