Chris joined colleague Sohrab Rustomjee as Director at SR Architects in September 2004 bringing with him extensive healthcare facility design experience.  In addition to healthcare, Chris has a broadly based experience on a range of project types and complexities with over 20 years in the construction industry working in London, Hong Kong and Bath with previous practices.  Chris and the SR Architects team have recently completed several schemes including the £29M Aldershot Centre for Health and the Guildford Clinic for the Nuffield Organization. 

Prior to joining SR Architects, Chris acted as Project Architect on several healthcare schemes including Monmouth Community Hospital (27,000 sq.ft) up to FBC as a Public Sector Comparator for PFI, Oak Park Community Hospital and Childrens Services, Havant (130,000 sq.ft) feasibility design under LIFT, and the Clinical Haematology Unit, Nottingham City Hospital (40,000 sq.ft) as the vanguard project for Nottingham City NHS Trust under its S.O.C for the redevelopment of the whole hospital site. Chris also acted as Project Architect for commercial developments such as Marlborough Stirling HQ Building, Cheltenham (70,000sq.ft new offices) and within the education sector for new Student Accommodation at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield (1400 study rooms).   Other projects to which Chris contributed include Chepstow Community Hospital, Woodfield School Redditch, Beechen Cliff School Sixth Form Block and the Frenchay Integrated Children’s Unit in Bristol.
